Astra Engineering has been awarded Phase 1 engineering and design for a capacity expansion at a historic Mountain West hardrock mine. Due to limited existing documentation, the project will begin with high-precision LiDAR scanning to develop accurate facility models, followed by multi-disciplinary engineering including process equipment reintegration, structural evaluations, and electrical system upgrades. The project highlights Astra’s field-first approach to complex brownfield engineering projects.
